Fisher Hydraulics - Capabilities

Fisher Hydraulics is a manufacturer of custom engineered hydraulic cylinders for many industries. Some industries being served are construction, forestry, agriculture, industrial, turf, and man-lift applications. Capabilities range from 1 inch to 9 inch bore sizes with strokes to 20 feet long and ratings to 10,000 psi. All cylinders are manufactured utilizing CNC machining technology, automated welding processes, and cellular machining and assembly concepts. Each cylinder is oil tested and painted per customer specifications on an automated paint line. Facilities include capabilities for extended testing of prototype products prior to production.

  • Cylinder Styles - Thread Cap, Thread Ring, Threaded Head, Snap Ring, Single Acting, Double Acting, Spring Return, Single & Double Counterbalance Valves
  • Piston Rods - CPO & IHCP (.0005 or .001 thick chrome), Nitrobar, Chrome over electroless nickel
  • Paint - Fully automated two-part poly-urethane paint line with drying oven
  • Welding - Automatic processes using cellular manufacturing concepts

For those cylinders that do not match our capabilities, we also have access to the capabilities of our sister companies, Hampton Hydraulics, LLC (Seabee Corporation in Hampton, Iowa and Great Bend Industries in Great Bend, Kansas), Hydraulic Development and Manufacturing in Tonawanda, New York, and Ramrod Industries in Spencer, Wisconsin. Those capabilities include bore sizes to 36 inches, strokes to 30+ feet, multi-stage cylinders, and aluminum cylinders. With these additional resources, Fisher Hydraulics can be your "only" source for custom hydraulic cylinders.
